How on earth did I pull it off?

As a follow-up to the introduction below, you may be asking how on earth I managed to pull off starting a blog. Well, the boys are at Sunday School, the super cool, most greatest place to be (according to the aforementioned boys) to play with all their buddies so all us parents can go Christmas shopping. I would be Christmas shopping except that Princess Tater Tot is in the middle of her beauty sleep. And you DO NOT disturb a sleeping princess.

This is not how we make her sleep, by the way. She actually has a very comfy, cozy closet to call her own. I know, I know, it sounds horrible. We actually get a kick out of telling people she sleeps in the closet because of the quick look of stunned horror on their faces before they try to cover it up. Yes, we are sick people. To ease your minds, it's actually a large walk-in
closet with a window and she even has a crib in there. So see, we're not the crazy parents people think we are. Well, at least not when it comes to sleeping arrangements.

So anyway, that's the simple answer to how I managed to pull off getting this blog up and running. Enjoy the lack of typos and nonsense words while you can. Next time I post, I will very likely have my small army of 'helpers' along for the ride, and they LOVE the idea of posting on the web for all of you!

My first day as a blogger...

So, I actually got around to starting my very own blog. It always sounded like a good idea. A great way for friends and family to keep track of the goings on here at insanity central. Unfortunately, good ideas are frequent around here, but finding the time to see them through, well, you know... So here I am, it's not even the new year, and I have my resolution in front of me in black and white for everyone to see.

There are so many funny, touching, and important things that happen around here. Everyday kinds of things that added together make up the amazing kids that are mine and The Doctor's. Since I quit my job to stay home with my kiddos full time, I have been amazed and entertained on a daily basis. My thought is to communicate some of that on this blog. I'm sure everyone else has great kids and out of the blue revelations that hit them at odd moments. I know I do, and so here I am, ready to share.
